Back in the Heart of San Jose
EORM is growing and better able to serve clients from a new state of the art facility in the heart of San Jose. The city’s Green Vision complements EORM’s growing sustainability consulting services practice area and mirrors the Company’s belief that business growth and sustainable business practices go hand in hand. “We are excited about returning to the City where our company was founded in 1990 and being a part of such a forward-thinking community that is aggressively implementing sustainable business practices,” remarked Glenn Fishler, EORM’s President and CEO.
Getting Greener
EORM is pleased to be working with San Jose city officials and the Governor to help San Jose capture the crown of the “greenest city.” The new office location reduces commute distance and time for most employees and also provides better mass transit options. EORM has also determined that carbon emissions associated with company operations can be reduced at their new location by implementing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building concepts during tenant improvements, as well as becoming LEED certified. EORM is currently on track to meet a 2012 goal of reducing the Company’s total carbon footprint by 5% annually, using 2007 as a baseline. To further their green efforts, EORM has invested in Eco Passes for all employees.
