Decontamination Support

EORM consultants develop and manage the implementation of facility and equipment decontamination plans for the safe decommissioning of sites, equipment and surfaces.

Emergency and Counterterrorism Plans and Procedures

Terrorism preparedness is a critical element of the overall activities associated with emergency preparedness. EORM develops site-specific plans detailing the steps needed to prepare for and respond to situations involving terrorist, chemical, biological, or radiological (CBR) incidents that may affect a business.

Training Programs

Site-specific training programs provide emergency responders with operations-level training that protects them and minimizes the effects of an incident. Training may also be used to create awareness and advise workers about various emergency issues or alerts. EORM training can be either instructor-led or designed as a blend of classroom and online learning.

Emergency and Counterterrorism Exercises and Drills

EORM develops simulation exercises and hands-on drill scenarios to test the efficacy of an operation’s plans. Exercises can also include training senior management on crisis communications and crisis management to deal with emergency events.

Security Vulnerability Analyses for Chemical Operations

Using the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Center for Chemical Process Safety (AIChE-CCPS) guidelines, EORM conducts security vulnerability analysis to systematically identify, analyze, and manage an operation’s chemical security vulnerability. This methodology includes:

These assessments are intended for operations that have high volume chemical usage and not just chemical and petrochemical facilities.

Risk-Based Transportation Security Assessments

EORM assists client companies who are involved in hazardous materials transportation in the evaluation of their transportation security programs and recommends security practices that should be considered to reduce transportation risks.

Building Chemical Biological and Radiological (CBR) Vulnerability Analyses

EORM assesses facilities to identify the actions a building owner or manager can take to improve occupant protection against CBR attacks.
